    Jumma prayers, also known as Friday prayers, hold special significance in Islam. They are a congregational prayer that Muslims perform every Friday, typically in a mosque. Jumma prayers consist of a sermon, or khutbah, delivered by an Imam before the congregational prayer, which includes two rak'ahs (units of prayer). The Friday prayers serve as a weekly gathering for the Muslim community, providing an opportunity for communal worship, spiritual reflection, and social connection. Attending Jummah prayers is considered a religious obligation for adult Muslim men, while women may attend if they choose.…

    Coffee morning, exhibition & discussion on “Ways for Peace”.

    Come to an interfaith coffee morning, with the chance to see the bookstall and discuss the exhibition - based on the Quranic teachings. The exhibition is on the topic "How to gain Individual, Social and International peace". Attendees can share the moral values of different faiths and schools of thought in a friendly and informal environment. This is an opportunity to make new friends and increase your understanding of other religions. You can also order a copy of the Holy Quran's translation in your own language.…

    Interfaith Service

    Shree Ghanapathy Temple & Sai Mandir, 125-133 Effra Road, Wimbledon, London SW19 8PU. 15.00 – 17.00
    Guests will be welcome to join us for our normal Sunday Service in the Sai Mandir, including a celebration of Ladies' Day and the Interfaith Service. The service will consist of readings, prayers and songs by members of other faiths in the Borough, ending with refreshments and an opportunity to continue our interfaith dialogue.
    As we will be celebrating Ladies' Day, which falls on the same day, our lady devotees will be leading the religious service, which will include a talk on Breast Cancer Awareness.
