    At Home Study and Prayer or Meditation Session led by 96 Year old retired Roman Catholic Priest

    Participate at Home in Session of Meditation or Prayer and Study run by a 96 year old Retired Roman Catholic Priest (possibly oldest person to lead a session in Inter Faith Week)
    All welcome to Participate at Home
    A 96 year old retired Roman Catholic Priest will be leading a session on Monday 10 November from 2.00 – 3.00pm. The session will include meditation or prayer and study. All welcome to participate at home knowing others will be participating in their homes at the same time. This is not an online meeting.

  • Sunday 9 November

    Westmorland and Furness Diversity Equity and Inclusion Partnership (WFDEIP) Twice Daily Sessions 7am and 7pm at home

    At home please include for Kendal Cumbria on activity map. 7.00 – Sunday 16 November 19.30
    Westmorland and Furness Diversity Equity and Inclusion Partnership (WFDEIP) will hold 2 sessions at home every day of Inter Faith Week in support of Inter Faith Week. These will be at 7am and 7pm for half an hour. Please feel welcome to read The Golden Rule and to undertake an appropriate practice from any faith or none (eg chanting, meditation, reading, reciting).

    BGKT founded in 1991.
    BGKT holds an open meeting on the 3rd Sunday of the month (November at home) 2.00 – 4.00pm. All welcome.

    Led by lay teachers authorized to teach by the Theravada Buddhist Sangha [Community of Theravada Buddhist Monks]. Open meetings include meditation.
    Teachings in Buddhist Group of Kendal (Theravada) BGKT’s Open Meetings are based on Mindfulness in Plain English, Loving-Kindness in Plain English, and The In Plain English series by Bhante Henepola Gunaratana (a Founder Spiritual Advisor to BGKT) published by Wisdom Experience.
