Hands of Friendship

Sunday 12 November

The Dougie Mac Hospice, I Grace Road, Trentham, ST4 8FN.

During Inter Faith Week we are thinking about those that are important in our lives. We will be decorating hands, with all those who are special to us, writing or drawing in the palm, something that brings us hope.
We are also learning makaton signs for the song "put a little love in your heart", that singing hands have recorded on you tube. The Dougie Mac Hospice have invited local Schools, Spiritual, Religious and Pastoral communities to join in with us.
We will be creating a Hands of Friendship display in the Children's building at the Dougie Mac Hospice.
The Young adult Unit have a programme of events for the week that includes makaton, tasting different foods, planting bulbs, quizzes, music and personal reflections.
