    UKIYN EcoPeace Cafe webinar on ‘Building a Community’

    The UKIYN EcoPeace Cafe is an online educational platform launched by The Religions for Peace UK Interfaith Youth Network.
    It aims to empower young people to take eco-social and peacebuilding actions within and outside their faith communities. The platform offers action-based training and community building to equip, support, and empower young individuals to become skilled facilitators and agents of change.
    Sarah Oliver hosted a training session on 1st of November focused on "Building a Community," where youth learnt strategies to establish a supportive community that takes positive action.…

    Strangers and Pilgrims - C of E St Albans Diocese Inter Faith Week Event

    The Cathedral and Abbey Church of Saint Alban, Sumpter Yard, St Albans, AL1 1BY (Entry via Visitors Entrance). 19.30 – 21.00
    You will have the opportunity to:

    • Hear “Strangers & Co-Pilgrims” from diverse backgrounds, sharing from their faith perspectives, what encourages them to engage with people of different faiths.

    • Meet and network with friends & invited guests from different faiths, cultures and ethnicities from across St Albans Diocese and also our ecumenical partners, civic dignitaries and political representatives.

    Hands of Friendship

    The Dougie Mac Hospice, I Grace Road, Trentham, ST4 8FN.
    During Inter Faith Week we are thinking about those that are important in our lives. We will be decorating hands, with all those who are special to us, writing or drawing in the palm, something that brings us hope.
    We are also learning makaton signs for the song "put a little love in your heart", that singing hands have recorded on you tube. The Dougie Mac Hospice have invited local Schools, Spiritual, Religious and Pastoral communities to join in with us.
    We will be creating a Hands of Friendship display in the Children's building at the Dougie Mac Hospice.
    The Young adult Unit have a programme of events for the week that includes makaton, tasting different foods, planting bulbs, quizzes, music and personal reflections.…

    With tragic events continuing to unfold in Israel and Palestine, our newspapers and social media feeds are full of content that can pull us apart and even turn us against one another. Join us for a panel discussion bringing together Jewish, Muslim, and Christian participants to discuss how to keep dialogue open and how to maintain the possibility of trust between us. Our aim is to offer a safe space to have this important conversation, as well as to create a resource based on the conversation which can be drawn on more widely now and in future when global events strain inter faith relations here in the UK.…

    Mitzvah Day Planting Workshop

    Inter Faith Walk of Friendship

    Starting at Sunderland Minster, we will then walk to the Sikh Gurdwara on Stockton Road, with a light lunch, then walk to the new madrasa at Burn Park. It's a great way to meet new people, experience different cultures and share our collective desire for peace in our community and world. If you can bring a head covering for the Sikh temple, that helps. Please ensure you also do not bring tobacco or alcohol products (including vapes) on the walk. …

    Interfaith Service

    Shree Ghanapathy Temple & Sai Mandir, 125-133 Effra Road, Wimbledon, London SW19 8PU. 15.00 – 17.00
    Guests will be welcome to join us for our normal Sunday Service in the Sai Mandir, including a celebration of Ladies' Day and the Interfaith Service. The service will consist of readings, prayers and songs by members of other faiths in the Borough, ending with refreshments and an opportunity to continue our interfaith dialogue.
    As we will be celebrating Ladies' Day, which falls on the same day, our lady devotees will be leading the religious service, which will include a talk on Breast Cancer Awareness.

    "Give Peace a Chance": An inter faith dialogue on Wednesday 22nd November, 6.30 to 9.00 pm.
    Inter faith service (One Day, One Day) led by Ordained Minister, with community involvement. The service will last from 4-6pm.
