    Inter Faith Stalls/Display

    Leicester College, Freeman's Park Campus, Welford Road, Leicester LE2 7LW
    Leicester College will be holding an Inter Faith Display at its three major campuses. This will include faith and beliefs and how students can contact the College's Multi Faith Chaplaincy service and engage in events, celebrations and tutorials that run throughout the academic year.…

    Dewsbury Remembrance Sunday Service

    Dewsbury Minster, Vicarage Rd, Dewsbury WF12 8DD. 10.30 – 14.00
    This year’s Remembrance Sunday Service will be held in Dewsbury Minster on Sunday 13 November at 10.30am. Organisations and individuals wishing to join in the parade prior to the service are asked to assemble on Town Hall Way at 10am for march off at 10.20am. Those going direct to the Minster are asked to be seated there by 10.20am. Please note the parade will re-form after the service and return to the Memorial Gardens on Longcauseway for a wreath-laying service. Tea and coffee will be provided in the Town Hall following the return parade.

    Inter Faith Week: Exhibition and Panel

    Endeavour House, IP1 2BX . 9.00 – Friday 18 November 17.00
    Suffolk County Council are taking part in Interfaith Week. We have been working in co-production with the local Multi-Faith Agency to create an exhibition display. This will include posters, artifacts, books and the board game 'Diversity'.

    We are also creating videos where people will talk a bit about their faith and this will be shared throughout the council.

    There will also be a panel talk where we will invite staff over lunchtime on 16th Nov to come to talk to people of different faiths about their religion/belief.
    We will be providing quizzes as a way of interacting with staff. …

    Multifaith Foodbank

    Dewsbury South Ward, WF12. 9.00 – Sunday 20 November 16.00
    Multifaith Community Group run by volunteers supporting the people of Dewsbury who are in need and promoting wellbeing.

    A range of interfaith activities in lessons.

    St Bede's RC High School, Green Lane, Blackburn, BB2 4SR. 9.00 – Friday 18 November 16.00
    Pupils are writing postcards to pupils at another local school about aspects of their own faith and sharing their faith experiences. Lessons have taken place where pupils will learn about different world faiths and reflect on their own faith. Pupils will have question and answer lessons with staff from different faiths to explore and learn more about aspects of other religions. Pupils will contribute to a 'wall of faith' display with their own reflections of what faith means to them.…

    Inter Faith Boccia Event

    Boccia is an extremely accessible form of indoor bowling suitable for all ages and abilities and was designed specifically for athletes with a disability affecting locomotor function. In this event small teams of up to 5 people will compete in a friendly quick-fire tournament with refreshments at the end. Teams are welcome from everyone whether part of a faith community or not. …

    His Blood Be Upon Us: Revd Dr Tom Wilson’s Book Launch

    Wesley's Chapel, City Road, London, EC1Y 1AU. 18.30 – 20.30
    The book explores the antisemitic potential of Matthew’s Gospel in the Christian New Testament. It begins with a detailed discussion of the occasion of the text, before discussing key questions (Matthew’s fulfilment theology, and the use of polemic in the text). Three crucial texts are examined in detail. The book discusses the reverberations of the “blood cry,” arguing the deicide-focused interpretation of Matthew 27:25 is foundational to subsequent blood libels, which are also discussed. The final chapters explore how to preach from Matthew’s Gospel with Jewish people in mind, including offering sample sermons to stimulate the reader’s thinking about how they might teach from a controversial Matthean text in a way that denies the possibility of perpetuating Christian antisemitism.…

    Inter Faith Meet and Eat social event

    Come and join us for food and friendship. All welcome. The Wirral Deen Centre is a mosque and community centre open to all. This event is for multi-faith, intergenerational, for families, young people, religious and none - the whole wider community.

    Watford Inter Faith Pilgrimage

    Watford and District Synagogue, 16 Nascot Rd, Watford, WD17 4YE. 12.00 – 17.30
    A walk between six places of worship in Watford Town Centre starting at the Watford and District Synagogue.

    The pilgrims will visit six places of worship, starting at the Watford and District Synagogue where refreshments will be served and all will be welcomed, and will finish at the Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara, with some hot food. At each place of worship there will be a talk and a chance to ask questions.…

    Brent Multi-Faith Peace Walk

    Inner Space, 528 High Rd, Wembley HA9 7BS. 13.00 – 15.30
    A Peace Walk visiting some of Brent's diverse places of worship en route, ending with a tree planting ceremony at Mount Pleasant Open Space. The walk will begin at the Brahma Kumaris Innerspace on Wembley High Road.

    This will be a celebration of all of Brent's myriad communities and a display of unity and solidarity between them. …
