Get ready to build bridges and celebrate the incredible diversity of faith and belief across the UK. Inter Faith Week is a powerful annual initiative dedicated to strengthening interfaith relations, fostering mutual understanding, and showcasing the invaluable contributions of faith communities.
Since its launch in 2009, thousands of people have participated in a wide range of events—from community walks and dialogues to cultural festivals and social action projects. This year, we invite you to be a part of this vital movement.
How Can You Get Involved?
Whether you're an individual, a community group, a school, or a workplace, there are many ways to participate:
Organise an Activity: Host an Event in Your Local Area! It could be a discussion, a shared meal, a charity drive, or a cultural exchange. Register your event with us to help promote it and be featured in our national calendar.
Attend an Event: Explore the activities happening near you. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet new people, learn about different traditions, and connect with your neighbours.
Learn and Share: Use our resources to deepen your understanding of diverse faiths and non-religious beliefs. Follow us on social media and share your experiences to inspire others.
Focus on Community: This year, we highlight the theme of "Community: Together We Serve". Let's come together to make a positive impact and show how our shared values can strengthen society.
Inter Faith Week always begins on Remembrance Sunday, honouring the contributions of people of all faiths and none. This year, the week concludes on Sunday, 16th November, leading into Mitzvah Day on Sunday, 23rd November, which celebrates 20 years of interfaith social action.
By participating, you’re helping to create a more inclusive and harmonious society for everyone.
