Why Inter Faith Action Matters

Saturday 18 November 19.00 – 21.30

Catherine de Barns Community Hall, Hampton Lane, Solihull, B91 2TJ

We will start with ‘bring and share’ refreshments followed by a short program of readings and reflections drawn from a variety of faiths. The reflections will all be related to the theme of “Peace”. We are hoping that representatives of different faiths will bring a reading or prayer and there will be a selection of texts available for others who may wish to read from other faiths not represented.

The schedule for speakers/presentations is as follows:

Welcoming Remarks: Vice-Chair, Solihull Faiths Forum

Why Inter-Faith Dialogue Matters: Mr. Kian Golestani, Baha’is of Solihull

Summary of World Parliament of Religions conference, Chicago 2023 on theme of ‘A Call to Conscience: Defending Freedom & Human Rights': Dr. Peter Rookes, Joint-Secretary, Birmingham Council of Faiths. Feel free to join us - all are welcome!
