Inter Faith Week Poetry Session

Saturday 18 November 14.00 – 16.00

Batley Library, 14 Market Place, Batley, WF17 5DA

An annual Inter Faith Poetry session hosted by Batley Poets in partnership with Friends of Batley Library. Come along to perform poetry you've written, read poems you like, or sit back and enjoy the afternoon with a cuppa and meet some new friends.

For us, Inter Faith Week has always celebrated our diversity, commonality and baking skills. We want as many people as possible to come together to share and appreciate poetry, hearing the vibrant voices and stories in our community.

Everyone is welcome to attend, regardless of faith, whether it's your first or fifty-first time. We've always said, 'Everyone's a Batley Poet', and we haven't been proven wrong yet.

Although this is an Inter Faith Week poetry session, you can share poetry on any theme.
