    Multifaith visits for KS2/3 during Inter Faith Week

    Dewsbury and Huddersfield, HD1 . 9.00 – Friday 18 November 16.00
    Come and experience two faith visits in one morning. These visits offer KS2 and KS3 school pupils a chance to learn from two different faith communities and involve a short walk between two places of worship. Two-centre visits will take place in Dewsbury and Huddersfield. Early booking essential.

    St. Michael's RCP School in Chatham are going to

    * Hold an activity to mark the Inter Faith Week such as pupils singing and writing letters to care home residents
    * Hold an Inter Faith Week art or poetry competition

    In the classroom children will be learning about topics such as:
    • different faiths’ understandings of service and helping others: Caring Hands charity to deliver for pupils workshop
    • how people of different faiths and beliefs can live well together with respect - create a school blog.

    Inter Faith Week Event - God’s Justice in our World

    The Cathedral & Abbey Church of Saint Alban, Sumpter Yard, St Albans AL1 1BY (Entry via Visitors Entrance). 18.45 – 21.00
    In partnership with Luton based community initiative called GRASSROOTS Programme, The Church of England St Albans Diocese is hosting Inter Faith Week Event at St Albans Abbey.

    Besides input from different faiths, St Albans Abbey musicians have offered to play instrumental music and one of the school pupils are also making a presentation. For those interested, a short guided tour to the shrine of St Alban is also being arranged.

    Establishment of Faith Compact between Coventry Faith groups and Coventry City Council

    Establishment of a Faith Compact for the City, a joint commitment between faith communities and Coventry City Council to a set of principles that guide engagement, aiming to improve collaborative partnerships, and to promote open, practical working at all levels. Supported by Daniel Singleton national executive director of Faith Action to provide learning from other local authorities who have undertaken this concept over the years. …

    Watford Inter Faith Pilgrimage

    Watford and District Synagogue, 16 Nascot Rd, Watford, WD17 4YE. 12.00 – 17.30
    A walk between six places of worship in Watford Town Centre starting at the Watford and District Synagogue.

    The pilgrims will visit six places of worship, starting at the Watford and District Synagogue where refreshments will be served and all will be welcomed, and will finish at the Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara, with some hot food.
