    Epping Forest District Museum - Faiths in the Forest Online Exhibition

    Epping Forest District Museum will be holding an online exhibition on its website https://www.eppingforestdc.gov.uk/museum, which will also be displayed digitally at the museum, allowing visitors to learn more faiths within the Epping Forest District.

    Ahead of the exhibition, the Museum has been working to identify gaps in its photograph collection and working to add some reflecting the Jewish lived experience within the Epping Forest District. It is working alongside Chabad Lubavitch Buckhurst Hill (https://www.chabadonthehill.co.uk/) and other members of the Jewish community to collect photographs, including photographs of Jewish holidays and menorah lightings throughout the district, to ensure the collection remains relevant and reflective of the district's community. …

    Trees, Faith and Life

    This exhibition is organised by the Wirral Deen Centre and will include local schools' responses to the a variety of faith, philosophical and symbolic perspectives on trees, faith and life.     Natural Reflections - Interfaith Art Exhibition

    Yeovil Art Space is working with Somerset Diverse Communities, part of the Community Council for Somerset and the Interfaith and belief network, on a new special exhibition in the town centre gallery for Interfaith Week this November.

    The exhibition will showcase artworks from several artists from across Somerset, sharing their different creative interpretations of faith, belief, and their connections to our natural world, giving insight into how various faith/belief traditions teach about caring for the earth and our environment.…

    Inter Faith Week: Exhibition and Panel

    Endeavour House, IP1 2BX . 9.00 – Friday 18 November 17.00
    Suffolk County Council are taking part in Interfaith Week. We have been working in co-production with the local Multi-Faith Agency to create an exhibition display. This will include posters, artifacts, books and the board game 'Diversity'.

    We are also creating videos where people will talk a bit about their faith and this will be shared throughout the council.

    There will also be a panel talk where we will invite staff over lunchtime on 16th Nov to come to talk to people of different faiths about their religion/belief.
    We will be providing quizzes as a way of interacting with staff. …

    Pennine Care Foundation Trust, Across 5 sites Stockport; The Meadows, Tameside Buckton Unit, Oldham Forrest House; Rochdale at Birchhill, OL6. 11.00 – Friday 18 November 14.00
    We have plans in place for a week of activities across the five boroughs that make up Pennine Care Foundation Trust. These include Stockport, Tameside, Oldham, Bury and Rochdale. We will be having a stall in each borough with a lots of information about the different faith including copies of our new Faith and Culture booklet which will help staff understand the faiths, beliefs and culture of our service users and their carers. Each day we will be focusing on a different Faith Group Monday- Islam in Oldham; Tuesday Judaism in Bury; Wednesday Hindu’s and Sikh’s in Rochdale, Buddhism and Hindus in Tameside and Christianity in Stockport.

    Invitation from the Mayor of Reading to Reading Interfaith Group

    The Mayor's Parlour is in Reading Civic Offices, Bridge St, Reading RG1 2LU. 18.00 – 19.30
    An inclusive opportunity to meet in the Mayor's Parlour, discuss opportunities for inter faith in our town and create a multi-faith Calender for 2023 together.

    The purpose of the event is to promote the aims of the Reading Interfaith Group.
    These are:-
    To enable members of different faiths to learn about and experience each other’s beliefs, practices, and traditions.
    To acknowledge each other’s differing spiritual paths
    To challenge misinformation and prejudice.
    To promote friendship through interfaith dialogue and hospitality locally and nationally.

    Watch the acclaimed film The Emigrant, at our free film screening and join panel members, Cllr. Caroline Stock, Dr James Charlton, Revd. Julie Gittoes, Rabbi Jeff Berger, Milijana Bodroza - International Politics and Law Alumna and Anna Hussain from Nisa-Nashim for questions and a lively discussion about the film. The biblical tale of Joseph is told from an Egyptian perspective in this interesting character study.
