Tree planting

Thornes Park, Denby Dale Road, Wakefield WF2 8DY. 11.00 – 12.00
Wakefield Interfaith Network, with the help of Wakefield Tree Wardens, Wakefield District Arboricultural officer and local school children, will plant three native trees in a local park. These mature trees, in the growing circle of interfaith trees, provide interest and beauty for visitors to enjoy along with food and shelter for wildlife. They symbolise the way that people from different faiths and cultures can live and work together, in harmony with each other and the natural world.
We will be in the open air but will still observe social distancing.…


Faith and Food Event (Sikh Religion)

During Inter Faith Week we would like to raise awareness of different types of foods in the Sikh faith, what are the dietary requirements, learn why they exist, taste some of the favourite recipes, get to know one another and share a few food thoughts! …

ENGAGE Network Launch Event

Join the Faith & Belief Forum on Inter faith Week for the launch of our ENGAGE network and help us shape a better future for young people of faith in London. This network is for organisations who already work with, or would like to work with, young people of faith. It will come together twice a year to share expertise and experiences, build skills and knowledge and to connect with diverse Londoners. 

Please join us in our first session to:

Listen to young people from different faith and beliefs (speakers to be announced)
Explore how we can best spend this funding
Discuss what you need and want from this space
Let us know how you would like to be involved
