    Signing the Faith Covenant

    Committee Room A and B, Council House, Victoria Square, Birmingham B1 1BD. 10.00 – 12.00
    Birmingham was the first City in 2014 to sign a Covenant with its respective Local Authority, in this case Birmingham City Council. After 8 years, the Covenant has been refreshed and signatories will be giving a new commitment to working together. The revised Covenant is extended to include other statutory organisations such as the Police, Crown Prosecution Service, NHS Integrated Care System and VCFS organisations such as Birmingham Voluntary Services Council and Healthwatch Birmingham and Solihull.…

    Huddersfield Remembrance Service

    Huddersfield Parish Church of St. Peter's, Byram St, Huddersfield HD1 1BU. 10.15 – 16.00
    This year’s Remembrance Sunday Service will be held in Huddersfield Parish Church. Organisations and individuals wishing to join in the parade prior to the service are asked to assemble on Victoria Lane at 10.15am for march off at 10.30am. Those going direct to church are asked to be seated there by 10.30am. Please note the parade will re-form after the service and return to the Town Hall. Tea and coffee will be provided in the Town Hall following the return parade. …

    Dewsbury Remembrance Sunday Service

    Dewsbury Minster, Vicarage Rd, Dewsbury WF12 8DD. 10.30 – 14.00
    This year’s Remembrance Sunday Service will be held in Dewsbury Minster on Sunday 13 November at 10.30am. Organisations and individuals wishing to join in the parade prior to the service are asked to assemble on Town Hall Way at 10am for march off at 10.20am. Those going direct to the Minster are asked to be seated there by 10.20am. Please note the parade will re-form after the service and return to the Memorial Gardens on Longcauseway for a wreath-laying service. Tea and coffee will be provided in the Town Hall following the return parade.

    Laying of Remembrance Wreaths

    The Embankment, Bedford town centre, MK40 3PD. 11.00 – 11.30
    Members of Bedford Council of Faiths will take the lead at the annual laying of Remembrance wreaths , a ceremony in the town centre arranged by the Royal British Legion. The ceremony will consist of of the laying of wreaths by statuary and voluntary organisations and the recitation of Words of Peace.…

    Inter Faith Week Round Table

    The Deputy Mayor will be chairing a roundtable and breakfast with approximately 12 faith and interfaith stakeholders during Interfaith Week. This will be an opportunity to introduce and welcome faith leaders and interfaith stakeholders to the new City Hall for the first time.

    As Chair the Deputy Mayor will host and chair the roundtable and speak about what the Mayor is doing to help Londoners during the cost-of-living crisis. The roundtable aim on this occasion is to open the discussion to hear about what the faith and interfaith leaders and organisations in attendance are doing to help those most impacted by the cost-of-living crisis. …
