    Which stories to share?

    A chance to prepare for input to a meeting being held by the Religion and Media Centre at Norwich Cathedral on 30 November on Creating Connections: Religion and the Media. At that event there will be meeting with journalists to find out about what kind of stories mainstream media is looking for: 'the weird and controversial?', 'human interest'?, 'out of the ordinary?', "not dog bites man but man bites dog"?, not 'feel-good stories about volunteers doing good things'? If so, is that likely to appeal to how religious groups - is it how they would want to appear? Helen Baldry, who regularly reports on Christian groups in Norfolk, will help us discuss what sort of stories from religions can appeal, without distorting how people perceive religious people and practices. Join us to give us your views, share your stories, then we can go together better prepared to the event on 30 November.…
