An Inter Faith Week celebration: Putting the spotlight on inter faith activism - a webinar for schools

The Faith & Belief Forum has worked for over 20 years to build good relations between people of all faiths and beliefs, and to create a society where difference is celebrated. We are offering secondary schools across the UK an exciting webinar designed especially for Inter Faith Week, using our unique methodology. The Webinar will allow pupils to hear from a diverse group of speakers who will present, reflect on and discuss their own personal experiences of interfaith activism and social action, as well as how their own faith and belief has influenced them on this path. There will also be opportunity to ask questions. This session will empower young people to:

Celebrate Inter Faith Week and understand the importance of collective community action, building bridges and paths to understanding
Understand the intersectionality of identity through the use of personal stories
    See effective interfaith dialogue modelled
Reflect on their own experiences in relation to this topic
    Challenge assumptions and stereotypes
Increase their religious literacy, empathy and skills for dialogue…
