Thank you for encouraging others to take part in Inter Faith Week. Below is some basic information you may find it helpful to draw on for your newsletters and e-bulletins.

Inter Faith Week 2022 (www.interfaithweek.org) will take place in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland from Sunday 13 to Sunday 20 November. It’s a Week for everyone in which an ever-growing number and variety of organisations take part.

Inter Faith Week (www.interfaithweek.org) was established in 2009, in partnership with Government in the launch year, to help to strengthen good inter faith relations; increase awareness of the different and distinct faith communities in the UK, in particular celebrating and building on the contribution which their members make to their neighbourhoods and to wider society; and increase understanding between people of religious and non-religious beliefs.

Lots of great activity ideas can be found at: https://www.interfaithweek.org/resources/ideas.

Inter Faith Week is timed to begin each year on Remembrance Sunday, to encourage people to remember together the service of people of all faiths and none. There is a special website section about that, created with the help of the Royal British Legion: https://www.interfaithweek.org/resources/remembrance

Inter Faith Week branding materials such as the flyer, poster and logo are easy to download from: https://www.interfaithweek.org/resources/publicity-and-branding. You can also order stickers, posters, flyers, badges and blank Inter Faith Week message cards to shared a social media message about the Week.

If you organise an activity, please do let the Inter Faith Network know by submitting details on their Inter Faith Week website at https://www.interfaithweek.org/submit. If your activity is closed to the public, you can list it as ‘closed’. However, listing your activity adds to the buzz around the Week, and highlights how your organisation is contributing to good inter faith relations.

If you publicise or report on your activity through social media, don’t forget to use the #InterFaithWeek hashtag in your posts and tag @IFWeek on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

The full Inter Faith Week press release, which includes further details about the Week and how you can get involved, can be found at: https://www.interfaithweek.org/news/press-release-its-six-months-to-go-inter-faith-week-2022.

If you’d like to discuss your ideas with one of the Inter Faith Network’s Inter Faith Week team, you can email them interfaithweek@interfaith.org.uk
