Lighting the way across traditions

We are delighted to share a new resource for UK Inter Faith Week 2026, produced by the Cambridge Interfaith Programme at the University of Cambridge

Lighting the way across traditions, this Scriptural Reasoning text pack brings together curated passages from Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, and Sikh scriptures to explore the central theme of light. Developed for use in UK RE classrooms, school chaplaincies, higher education societies, and local interfaith groups, the pack features structured discussion guidelines, text glossaries, and access to companion video recordings to help participants read sacred texts together safely and constructively. Groups using the pack are warmly encouraged to list their events on the official interactive map at www.InterFaithWeek.org to help inspire interfaith engagement across the country.
