How to Run an Interfaith Book Club

This resource, So You Want to Start an Interfaith Book Club: A Guide, published by Interfaith Scotland, offers practical guidance for anyone wishing to establish a welcoming space where people of different faiths, beliefs, and worldviews can come together through reading. Rather than focusing on theological debate, it encourages meaningful conversation, mutual understanding, and friendship through shared exploration of literature and lived experience. The guide includes advice on choosing books, facilitating respectful dialogue, organising meetings, and creating an inclusive atmosphere. It was developed by Interfaith Scotland's Development Officer, Nicola Maule, whose work supports initiatives that foster interfaith understanding and stronger community relationships.
