AI’s Most Overlooked Question May Be Human
As AI expands organisational capability, qualities such as judgement, integrity, responsibility, courage, trustworthiness and care for others become even more important. Yet technology does not create these qualities.
They are formed through families, communities, experience, service, and, for many people around the world, through faith and belief. On 1st October, business leaders from Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh and Jewish perspectives will join a global conversation on Human Capability in the Age of AI: What Faith and Belief Bring to Work. This is not a theological debate, but a practical conversation about a question every organisation increasingly faces: how faith and belief shape the character and human capabilities that good leadership and responsible business require.
Convened by the Religious Freedom & Business Foundation, Faith@Work UK and Inter Faith Week, the discussion will also explore how organisations around the world can make space for these deeper sources of character, purpose and responsibility to contribute at work.
The conversation comes just ahead of Dare to Overcome: The Economics of Kindness in London and the launch at Mansion House on 13 October 2026 of our new White Paper, The Overlooked Source of Human Capability and Character: Why Faith and Belief Matter in the Age of Artificial Intelligence. A Board Paper on Human Character, Corporate Governance and Long-Term Value.
As AI changes what we are capable of doing, we need a deeper conversation about the kind of people we need to become. Go to Faithatwork.uk or click here for further details.
