You are invited behind
the scenes at York Minster’s Centre of Excellence for Heritage Craft Skills & Estate Management at a
Heritage Fair. The tour will explore the two new buildings which have established York Minster
Precinct as a world-class facility for research, education and training in traditional craft skills and the latest technology. Visitors will see the sustainable initiatives, including the latest photovoltaic
technology and rainwater harvesting techniques. The tour will be led by Canon Maggie McClean and
Alex McCallion, Director of Works & Precinct.
