Remembrance Day

Sunday 8 November 18.00 – 19.30

Vault Youth Zone, Tithebarn St, Preston, PR1 1DJ

Inter Faith Week 2026 will begin with faith leaders coming together to lay a wreath at the Remembrance Day
Service at Preston Cenotaph, reflecting on the shared values of remembrance, peace and community.
Our week of events offers opportunities to connect, learn, share experiences and explore the richness of Preston’s diverse faiths and communities.

At a time when division, disinformation, antisemitism, anti-Muslim hatred and other forms of prejudice are causing many people to feel isolated or pressured to hide who they are, interfaith engagement offers a hopeful alternative. It helps us work towards a shared future where everyone belongs, stands together against hate and narrow definitions of belonging, and builds stronger, safer, and more united communities.
