Light For Leeds - An Interfaith Week event with music

Join us for the tenth annual interfaith event at Abbey House Museum, Kirkstall, for a celebration of what all beliefs and none have in common. There will be performances, contemplation, stalls, light refreshments and a chance to hear from faith and non-faith representatives. The event is free and in the Gatehouse, please enter through the main museum shop.

1pm: Performance of Carols and Christmas music
1.20pm: Lighting of World Peace Flame
Speeches by Deputy Lord Mayor of Leeds and Deputy Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire.
1.30pm: Light and candle lighting in Judaism
2pm: Presentation on Sikhism
2.30pm: Hindu music
2.55pm Flute recital with Brahma Kumaris (followed by meditative walk)
3.30pm: Thanks from Leeds Museums & Galleries
3.50pm: Contemplation/ silence.
4pm: close.
