Global Social Club (GSC) is Hummingbird’s youth group, and the UK’s first youth club of sanctuary. It
provides a welcoming space for young people to make friends, share food, practice their English and
celebrate different cultures. We play games, cook and eat together, and run activities from music, dance,
and art workshops, to cultural celebration events and outdoor sports. The club supports young people to
build connections, develop a sense of belonging, and feel part of a community, reducing social isolation.
