Compassionate Care in Bereavement: Exploring Practice, Cultures and Futures

Thursday 13 November 18.00 – 21.00

Zoroastrian Trust Funds of Europe, 440 Alexandra Avenue, Harrow, HA2 9TL

Are you, or do you wish to be, involved with compassionate care during bereavement in your community?

Join us for a community conversation exploring how we care for those who are grieving. Together, we’ll reflect on current bereavement practices, the role of cultural traditions and rituals, and how we can build on these with compassionate, future-focused support.

We’ll explore:
● How bereavement care is practiced today
● The influence of cultural customs and rituals
● Evolving approaches and future possibilities
● Resources, training, and support needed for communities

This will be a safe, welcoming space to share experiences, learn from one another, and inspire positive change. Let’s honour diverse practices and explore new ways to support people through loss with compassion.

Organised for Interfaith Week in partnership with Bereavement Care, Oshwal Association NW Area, Zoroastrian Trust Funds of Europe, and Harrow Giving.
