    Inter Faith Week: Exhibition and Panel

    Endeavour House, IP1 2BX . 9.00 – Friday 18 November 17.00
    Suffolk County Council are taking part in Interfaith Week. We have been working in co-production with the local Multi-Faith Agency to create an exhibition display. This will include posters, artifacts, books and the board game 'Diversity'.

    We are also creating videos where people will talk a bit about their faith and this will be shared throughout the council.

    There will also be a panel talk where we will invite staff over lunchtime on 16th Nov to come to talk to people of different faiths about their religion/belief.
    We will be providing quizzes as a way of interacting with staff. …

    West Midlands Faith Alliance Toolkit Workshop

    The Hub, 5-9 Hermitage Road, Solihull B91 2LL.. 17.30 – 20.30
    A workshop launching a toolkit from the WM Faith Alliance to help reduce violence of all kinds and to build safer communities. There will be a presentation from the WM Violence Reduction Partnership followed by table discussions on understanding, responding to and preventing violence in our communities.

    Establishment of Faith Compact between Coventry Faith groups and Coventry City Council

    Establishment of a Faith Compact for the City, a joint commitment between faith communities and Coventry City Council to a set of principles that guide engagement, aiming to improve collaborative partnerships, and to promote open, practical working at all levels. Supported by Daniel Singleton national executive director of Faith Action to provide learning from other local authorities who have undertaken this concept over the years. …
