    Diwali at Norton Priory

    Norton Priory Museum and Gardens
    On 12th November Norton Priory celebrates Diwali, the Hindu festival of light. Family friendly activities will include clay Diya lamp making and Rangoli pattern making. Mima Cornish from Hedgerose Healing will be creating an intricate and traditional rangoli pattern during the afternoon and our historic Undercroft will be specially illuminated for the event. We also encourage you to come and share our delicious Indian lunch, prepared by the Brooke Cafe, at our festive communal tables in the atrium.…

    The Eco Show and Tell sustainability fair is coming to Middlesex University on Thursday November 16th! The event is organised together with Barnet Multi-Faith Forum, Middlesex University Inter Faith Network, North London Waste Authority, and is also part of the national week-long Inter Faith Week. We are delighted to shine a light on sustainability issues during this important week.

    Jumma Prayers - Come and see how your Muslim Friends Pray?

    Jumma prayers, also known as Friday prayers, hold special significance in Islam. They are a congregational prayer that Muslims perform every Friday, typically in a mosque. Jumma prayers consist of a sermon, or khutbah, delivered by an Imam before the congregational prayer, which includes two rak'ahs (units of prayer). The Friday prayers serve as a weekly gathering for the Muslim community, providing an opportunity for communal worship, spiritual reflection, and social connection.
