    UKIYN EcoPeace Cafe webinar on ‘Building a Community’

    The UKIYN EcoPeace Cafe is an online educational platform launched by The Religions for Peace UK Interfaith Youth Network.
    It aims to empower young people to take eco-social and peacebuilding actions within and outside their faith communities. The platform offers action-based training and community building to equip, support, and empower young individuals to become skilled facilitators and agents of change.
    Sarah Oliver hosted a training session on 1st of November focused on "Building a Community," where youth learnt strategies to establish a supportive community that takes positive action.…

    Hands of Friendship

    The Dougie Mac Hospice, I Grace Road, Trentham, ST4 8FN.
    During Inter Faith Week we are thinking about those that are important in our lives. We will be decorating hands, with all those who are special to us, writing or drawing in the palm, something that brings us hope.
    We are also learning makaton signs for the song "put a little love in your heart", that singing hands have recorded on you tube. The Dougie Mac Hospice have invited local Schools, Spiritual, Religious and Pastoral communities to join in with us.
    We will be creating a Hands of Friendship display in the Children's building at the Dougie Mac Hospice.
    The Young adult Unit have a programme of events for the week that includes makaton, tasting different foods, planting bulbs, quizzes, music and personal reflections.…

    Join us on November 14th for a special training session led by Greshma Pious Raju. This training will cover key factors when planning and designing community-based projects. Attendees will gain valuable knowledge and skills to manage and execute community-level projects successfully.…

    An Inter Faith Week celebration: Putting the spotlight on inter faith activism - a webinar for schools


    The Faith & Belief Forum has worked for over 20 years to build good relations between people of all faiths and beliefs, and to create a society where difference is celebrated. We are offering secondary schools across the UK an exciting webinar designed especially for Inter Faith Week, using our unique methodology. The Webinar will allow pupils to hear from a diverse group of speakers who will present, reflect on and discuss their own personal experiences of interfaith activism and social action, as well as how their own faith and belief has influenced them on this path. There will also be opportunity to ask questions. This session will empower young people to:

    Celebrate Inter Faith Week and understand the importance of collective community action, building bridges and paths to understanding
    Understand the intersectionality of identity through the use of personal stories
    See effective interfaith dialogue modelled
    Reflect on their own experiences in relation to this topic
    Challenge assumptions and stereotypes
    Increase their religious literacy, empathy and skills for dialogue…

    An Inter Faith Week celebration

    The Faith and Belief Forum will be holding a national webinar for secondary schools for Inter Faith Week. The event will focus on the topic of inter faith activism and will include the sharing of personal stories, discussion and Q&A with students.

    Speakers of different faiths will share their experiences of their faith and activism, highlighting the amazing work that the inter faith community does across many areas.

    It will be a great opportunity for the young people to be inspired and learn more about the importance of inter faith and community action.…
