Annual Interfaith Service for the City of Brighton and Hove
Thursday 16 October 15.00 – 17.30
One Church, Florence Road, Brighton, BN1 6DL
The Annual Interfaith Service involves contributions from a wide range of faiths. Historically it has always opened with The Call to Prayer. It has recitations from people across the board in the community - MPs, Faith Leaders and grass roots members of faith groups. Music plays an important part of the mix. There are two choirs usually, and a number of solo performances, and some audience participation. When it finishes attendees are invited to a legendary tea with cake, and ethnic specialities. The atmosphere is always friendly and enthusiastic.
