“Animals in Sacred Scriptures: Faith, Nature and Shared Responsibility.”

Wednesday 11 November 9.45 – 12.00

Community and Learning Centre, London Zoo, Prince Albert Road, opposite Ormonde Terrace.

Dialogue Society are delighted to invite you to join us for a special Interfaith Week gathering at London Zoo, bringing together representatives from the Bahá’í, Muslim, Hindu, Christian and Jewish faiths for an enriching discussion on “Animals in Sacred Scriptures: Faith, Nature and Shared Responsibility.”

This gathering will explore the wisdom our sacred scriptures/beliefs offer about animals, particularly birds, and the natural world. Together, we will reflect on the shared values within our faith traditions and our collective responsibility as stewards of creation.

Through meaningful dialogue and shared learning, we hope to deepen mutual understanding, celebrate our rich religious diversity and explore how our beliefs can inspire greater compassion towards animals and care for our planet.

We will also offer an optional visit to London Zoo after the session, providing an opportunity to explore these themes further.

We would be delighted by your participation in this special occasion during Interfaith Week. As places are limited, please confirm your attendance by booking your ticket no later than 30 October 2026.
