Women’s interfaith workshop: repairing the world

Wednesday 11 November 13.00 – 14.30

Redbridge (online)

"In this latest series of Women’s Workshops we will hear briefly from Christian, Jewish and Muslim women who will share the practical steps their faith communities are taking to care for our living world. In future workshops we will hear from women of other faiths. The short talks will be followed by breakout groups so participants can share what they found inspiring in the talks. We will end the workshop with questions and comments. We hope that you will find something inspiring in these workshops which you can take away and put into practice in your own faith community."

So how have we found these past few months? How have we coped? What have been the challenges? What have been the highlights? What have we learnt? And how have we practiced and kept our faith?

We will also have some time to talk about how it's been for us.

As we cannot yet hold face-to-face meetings this workshop will be a virtual one using the Zoom App or facility on your smart phone, laptop or computer. Please register in advance by emailing us at faith.forum@redbridge.gov.uk – joining instructions with the zoom link will be emailed to all registered email addresses nearer the date of the event.

We are sorry we cannot offer you refreshments but please, make yourself a cup of coffee or tea, and bring a biscuit or cake treat to our virtual workshop and be ready to just sit back and listen and/or offer your insight into the chosen topic. Looking forward to meeting up again in our new virtual reality!!
