Women and Faith

Wednesday 27 November 19.00 – 21.00

The Apostle Room, Clifton Cathedral, Clifton Park, Bristol BS8 3BX

'Women and faith' is an exploration of the changing role of women in three religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

As part of our contribution to this years’ Inter Faith Week we welcome to our diocese, Dr Carmody Grey, Assistant Professor in Catholic Theology at Durham University, Dr. Yafa Shanneik, lecturer in Islamic studies at Birmingham University and Lindsay Simmonds who teaches at the London School of Jewish Studies who, together, will dialogue and explore with us the changing role of women in three religions: Christianity, Islam and Judaism.

Refreshments will be available from 6.30pm and give people the opportunity to view an exhibition of art which links with the theme of the evening.
