Towards a Theology of Climate Change

Wednesday 13 November 12.00 – 14.00

The Multi-Faith Centre, The University of Derby, Kedleston Road, Derby, DE22 1GB

You are warmly invited to attend an Inter Faith Week celebration on Wednesday 13th November from 12.30 to 2.00 pm in Meeting Room 2; a Fairtrade lunch is available from 12 noon.

The purpose of the gathering is to consider a faith response within the university on the important matter of Climate Change. As you will know, some collaborative work has been started across the university on ‘Surviving Climate Catastrophe’ and we would like to celebrate its early success. Some of the events have been hosted by MFC and include contributions from University Environment & Sustainability Researchers, local industry, local activists and university policy makers. It will be good to have some time together, with others of faith, to consider how we can contribute to this crucial issue and to share some theological reflections on the subject.
