Sustainability and faith: Our relationship with the environment

Tuesday 15 November 20.00 – 21.30

KT1

The London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames is holding  an Inter Faith Week event focusing on the intersection between faith and climate action. "As a council we have declared a climate emergency and are committed to acting on our global climate crisis, locally. To do this we want to work with our community so that together we can move towards a fairer, greener and sustainable Richmond. Faith groups and communities have an important part to play and through this event we want to recognise that, spotlight some of the great work happening in the borough, share best practice and provide a space for networking and collaboration.

The evening will also include an opportunity to hear about the support on offer from the Council on practical elements such as decarbonising buildings and encouraging active transport for those attending places of worship."
