Spiritual Breakthrough in Multifaith Leicester: Being Human Festival

In the café, we will ask the questions: what is the role of prophesy and revelation – spiritual breakthroughs – in our religious experiences, and what influence do these experiences have in our relationships with the wider community and particularly to people and institutions of authority. We will examine this from a multi-faith perspective. Our four speakers are Liz Tingle (Christian), Dilwar Hussain (Muslim), Sheila Gewolb (Jewish), and Kartar Singh Bring (Sikh). They will share experiences of its application in the multi-faith city of Leicester. The café will be part of inter-faith week activities in Leicester.
