See Hear Respond - Faith in a Pandemic Learning Seminar

Wednesday 11 November 13.00 – 15.00

Barnardo's See Hear Respond Partnership is supporting children, young people, families and communities across England who have been impacted by Covid-19. During Inter Faith Week, Barnardo's and Action for Children, supported by the Association of Muslim Schools UK are inviting you to an online discussion about the role faith groups have in supporting communities through Covid-19. This is an opportunity to bring key speakers from different faith groups to share what has been the learning. Our learning seminar will: Understand the importance of faith during the pandemic and how communities have found strength at this time; create a space for faith and community leaders to share their experiences of how they have supported their communities during the pandemic - what have been the challenges that have encountered and what has been their response; provide attendees the opportunity to listen, reflect and learn about the impact of the pandemic on communities - what has this meant for children, young people and families; and look to the future and how through a wider charity response we can support faith communities that many of our service users belong to.

Our learning seminar will allow people of different faiths and beliefs to share experiences, learning and reflections. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and contribute their views and learn about the See, Hear, Respond Programme and the Partnership.
