School Inter Faith Week

Monday 21 November 0.00 – 0.00 Thursday 24 November

Cardiff Muslim Primary School, Merthyr St, Cardiff CF24 4JL

This Week is Inter Faith Week at our school. We started the week with an assembly discussing some of the similarities and differences between Islam and other religions.
We also had a very important reminder on how we should learn about other religions and respect them. On Friday we welcomed some guests from the Christian faith, Jewish faith and Sikh faith to discuss their faith in an assembly with the juniors. Parampreet Singh from the Sikh Gurdwara in Cardiff represented the Sikh faith (online); Reverand Emma Ackland from the Anglican Church in Barry, represented the Christian faith; and Diana Soffa, a member from the Cardiff Jewish progressive community represented the Jewish faith. This was followed by a Q&A session by the children for our guests.
