‘Safeguarding in Faith’ Network & Celebration Event

You are warmly invited to the third Wolverhampton 'Safeguarding In Faith' Network and Celebration Event.

This Network provides opportunities for representatives from faith groups to meet together to celebrate their successes, find out what more they can do to meet their safeguarding responsibilities, share and learn from good practice and ask safeguarding questions they need the answers to.

The Network event on 11th November will update on:

  • NEW Safeguarding in Faith Train the Trainer programme
  • FREE safeguarding resources & updates for you to take away and use
  • Inter Faith Week & plans for orange Wolverhampton
  • community cohesion officer.

MAIN ITEMS include:

  • Safer recruitment in practice
  • Presentation from private fostering
  • Serious case review discussion
  • 'Safeguarding in Faith' accreditation scheme - and how your group can benefit from this

 Light refreshments and snacks will be available from 6.30pm.

The 'Safeguarding in Faith' Network is open to anyone involved in a faith group in the city, especially anyone in a position of responsibility within a faith group such as:

faith leaders
safeguarding leads
trustees or committee members
anyone involved in a religious teaching role
anyone involved in volunteering or running activities or support services for children or vulnerable adults in the community
