Religion and Belief in the Workplace
Tuesday 12 November 12.00 – 15.00
Horizon House, Deanery Rd, Bristol, BS1 5TL
In the Horizon House atrium there will be an event looking at religion and belief in the workplace and how we can be more inclusive of colleagues with a faith or belief. Kate Marks, faith and belief champion for the Environment Agency.
This will be followed by a video conference from 2.00pm – 3.00pm, for colleagues who are involved in, or are interested in joining one of our Faith and Belief Networks across the DEFRA group. It leads on from the session held by the Civil Service Faith and Belief Champion Clare Moriarty and current Permanent Secretary Tamara Finklestein in London for Inter Faith Week last year. This discussion, opened by Tamara, will provide an opportunity to reflect on the first year of the new Faith and Belief Network and single faith networks, and talk about what we want to focus on in the coming year. Video conference rooms have been booked in Lateral, York, Marsham Street, Bristol, Warrington and Weybridge and telephone dial in will also be available.
