Participate at Home in Session of Meditation or Prayer and Study run by a 92 year old Retired Roman Catholic Priest (who may be the oldest person to lead a session in Inter Faith Week)

All welcome to Participate at Home     Free   A 92 year old retired Roman Catholic Priest will be leading a session on Wednesday 17 November from 2.30 – 3.30pm.  
The session will include meditation or prayer and study, which people are welcome to adapt to suit their tradition. All welcome to participate at home knowing others will be participating in their homes at the same time. This is not an online meeting

Programme Timetable

2.30pm – 2.50pm Silent Meditation or Prayer

2.50pm – 3.10pm Study Session
The Priest will study Psalms 147, 8 and 95 (Psalm numbering according to The Catholic Bible) 
Psalm 147 Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God … 
Psalm 8 O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth… 
Psalm 95 O come, let us sing unto the Lord… 
Please feel welcome to study any religious texts

3.10pm – 3.25pm Silent Meditation or Prayer

3.25pm – 3.30pm Prayer and Blessing 
The Priest will recite The Lord’s Prayer which starts Our Father…
Please feel welcome to recite any Prayer or Chant

The Priest will recite as a Blessing a Benediction Prayer (The Bible Numbers 6:24-26)
May the Lord Bless You  
And Keep You. 
The Lord Make His Face Shine Upon You 
And Be Gracious to You. 
The Lord Turn His Face Towards You 
And Give You Peace. 
The Lord give His Holy Benediction
