Panel: Defining faith, between religion and culture?

Monday 14 November 17.15 – 18.30

Faculty of Divinity, University of Cambridge, CB3 9BS.

What does it mean to be a person of faith? What does faith mean to others? Approaching inter-faith or inter-religious relations, it is easy to make assumptions about terms based on our own background and experience. As part of UK Inter Faith Week, DivSoc Chair Lucy Lipfriend (an undergraduate student in the Faculty of Divinity, Cambridge) chairs discussion, inviting panellists to reflect on whether they identify as people of faith, and what the ingredients of such identity might be—cultural and/or religious.
