Multi Faith Service

Tuesday 12 November 19.30 – 21.30

The Church of Christ the Cornerstone, 300 Saxon Gate, Central Milton Keynes, MK9 2ES

To celebrate Inter Faith Week, 10th to 17th November, IFMK is hosting a Multifaith Service in the main worship area of The Church of Christ the Cornerstone, 300 Saxon Gate, Milton Keynes MK9 2ES on Tuesday 12th November 2019 from 7:30 to 9:30pm.

One act of worship from each of twelve of the city’s main religious groups will be presented, allowing us all to experience one short representative act of worship from Hindu, Buddhist, Catholic and Protestant, Bahá’í, Jewish, Sikh, Unificationist, Sunni and Shia Muslims, in a spirit of peace, unity and harmony.

We are honoured to be hosted by Anglican Vicar of Christ the Cornestone Rev. Ernesto Lozada-Uzuriaga who will host us and open the service with prayer and lead the Lighting of Candles of Unity by religious representatives at the altar. Cllr Sam Crooks, the Mayor of Milton Keynes, is our guest of honour.

We are also truly grateful to be donated delicious food for the buffet by the ladies of Trubys Garden Tea Room.
