Making Barfi Sweets

St Aidan's Church of England Primary School, Derwentwater Road, Gateshead, NE8 2HQ

Pupils at the nursery made ‘Barfi’ sweets which is a traditional Sikh sweet. It is made with condensed milk, icing sugar and desiccated coconut. We then lit all of our Diva Lamps and sang a Diwali song.
