Invitation from the Mayor of Reading to Reading Interfaith Group

The Mayor's Parlour is in Reading Civic Offices, Bridge St, Reading RG1 2LU
An inclusive opportunity to meet in the Mayor's Parlour, discuss opportunities for inter faith in our town and create a multi-faith Calender for 2023 together.
The purpose of the event is to promote the aims of the Reading Interfaith Group. These are:-
- To enable members of different faiths to learn about and experience each other’s beliefs, practices, and traditions.
- To acknowledge each other’s differing spiritual paths
- To challenge misinformation and prejudice.
- To promote friendship through interfaith dialogue and hospitality locally and nationally.
- To support interfaith initiatives organised in the Reading area by faith and community leaders.
