Harlington Hospice Inter Faith Open Evening
Wednesday 14 November 17.50 – 20.00
Harlington Hospice is inviting Faith Leaders and representatives from their faith communities to Harlington Hospice to learn more about their work and the care they provide to people with life-limiting illness throughout the London Borough of Hillingdon and to understand more about the role that faith leaders can play in providing care. During the evening, they will get the opportunity to hear from patients, practitioners and staff about how the care the hospice makes a difference to those living with life-limiting illness and how the support they offer to families and carers provides a lifeline at a difficult time.
The Hospice would also like to learn from participants whether their care services are appropriate for their faith communities and how those attending can help those in the community to access these services.
It will also share details about plans to build a new 20-bed in patient hospice unit at Harlington.
