Experiencing aspects of different faiths

Wednesday 17 November

Highfield Road, Bolton BL4 0NS

This week it is #InterFaithWeek and throughout the week we are experiencing aspects of different faiths including Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism and Buddhism.
Following step by step instructions , choosing their own colours and carefully using a scraper to peel paint away from the paper, today Class Oak have created wax resist pictures of a Menorah focusing on 8 straight lines to represent candles as part of their learning about Judaism - very well done everyone!????????
Class Peach have enjoyed exploring the shape of the Star of David in lots of different textures and in Class Apricot our daily Attention Autism Sessions have focused on Christianity, Islam and Judaism. Fabulous focus Class Apricot !! Attention Autism is a specialist SALT intervention model which aims to develop natural and spontaneous communication through the use of visually based and highly motivating activities - our huge thanks to Mrs.Wrigley for creating and incorporating faith based resources into the sessions and making #InterFaithWeek accessible to all of our learners - amazing! Class Orange made glass windows, hand print Menorahs,
Mendhi hand decorations and Prayer mat designs during #InterFaithWeek
