Eden Girls’ School Pupils Learn About Hate Crime and Anti-Semitism

Monday 3 December

Blackhorse Lane, Walthamstow, London E17 5QJ

Ahead of Inter Faith Week (11-18 November) pupils at Eden Girls’ School, Slough, have been learning about tackling anti-Semitism and hate crime.

A workshop was delivered to pupils in Year 9 about Antisemitism in light of last month’s shootings at a synagogue in Pittsburgh, USA. Pupils watched a short video about the victims and the impact on the lives of the families of the victims. The pupils then explored the topic of hate crimes in general, the importance of tolerance towards one another and how they can show support to the Jewish community.
