Dawn of the Light: Film Screening
Monday 18 November 19.00 – 20.30
Film Unit, The Auditorium, Sheffield Students’ Union, Western Bank, S10 2TN
Join us for a free screening of "Dawn of the Light", a newly released documentary produced by the Bahá'í World Centre.
Gender inequality, racial injustice, unequal wealth distribution: these are just some of the global issues we are facing today. The UoS Baha'i Society would like to invite anyone who recognises the oneness of humanity and has a desire to address these issues to join us in watching this incredibly inspiring new film.
Two hundred years ago, the Báb appeared, inaugurating a new Dispensation and preparing humanity for the light of Bahá’u’lláh’s Revelation.
"Dawn of the Light" portrays several individuals from different continents as they relate their own personal search after truth and meaning. They share their discovery that God has sent two Divine Messengers—the Báb and Bahá’u’lláh — Whose teachings are revolutionizing human thought and behaviour, changing darkness into light. The film shows glimpses of how this same discovery is inspiring the efforts of many across the globe to serve humanity and to contribute to building a new pattern of life.
