Cumbria SACRE ‘Talking Heads’ for secondary schools
Monday 9 November
Cumbria SACRE, Cumbria House, Botchergate, Carlisle CA1 1RD
Cumbria SACRE members have recorded 'Talking Heads' by six representatives from different religions and worldviews. Secondary pupils from Dowdales School in Dalton-in-Furness and The Queen Katherine School in Kendal will watch the clips as part of RE lessons and other opportunities and submit further questions for Cumbria SACRE representatives. Questions discussed include: Why is being on Cumbria SACRE important? What does it mean to lead a religious or non-religious life? How does your religion or worldview impact on your daily life? What are your five interesting facts about your religion or worldview?
