Civil Service Inter Faith Celebration

Wednesday 13 November 17.30 – 19.30

102 Petty France, London, SW1H

Join us as we celebrate Inter Faith Week with a Panel Discussion exploring the meaning of 'Faith' and its impact on Public Service.

What does faith mean to people who believe? How does this differ between people of different religious groups? Do people of faith feel that they can bring their whole selves to work? How important is it for us to understand the religious beliefs of the Faith communities that we serve on a daily basis, through our work as Public Servants?

Many feel that faith has become a taboo topic in the workplace and that there is no unity / cohesion between different faith communities.

At this event we will hear from Senior Civil Servants and people of faith as we explore these topics, questions and more. This will be a safe space where all are welcome, regardless of Faith and/ or Belief, to share their thoughts, learn more about different world religions and ask questions on this important topic.

With people of faith making up a significant percentage of the public work force and the public at large, come and learn what role we can all play in making the Civil Service a more inclusive employer.
