CCJ Synagogue and Gospel Choir Concert

A Gospel Choir and a Synagogue Choir will perform on the same bill on Sunday 17th November to mark the 77th birthday of the Council of Christians and Jews.

Menorah Synagogue Choir [directed by Ruti Worrall] are members of Cheshire Reform Congregation. Accord Inspirational Gospel Choir [directed by Kadria Thomas] are a multi-cultural choir from across Greater Manchester. Together, they take part in a special concert at North Manchester Reform Synagogue (Sha’arei Shalom), Elms Street, opposite the Whitefield branch of Morrisons Supermarket, Manchester M45 8GQ on Sunday 17th November at 7.00 p.m.

The event will mark the end of Mitzvah Day, marked by the Jewish community throughout the UK, and also National Inter Faith Week.

Important information Tickets, booked in advance, are £10 (£5 for young people aged 18 and under). Both choirs have extensive repertoire of faith-based and popular inspirational music – and both music directors have led choirs on programmes broadcast by the BBC.
