Bolton Faith Youth Project - Launch Event

Saturday 16 November 10.30 – 13.00

Bolton Quaker Meeting, 50 Silverwell Street, Bolton, BL1 1PP

In recent years, Bolton Interfaith Council has ran a successful Young Ambassadors project working with girls and young women across Bolton, and the project concluded earlier this year.

Since then we have been developing ideas regarding a new youth project, and are now excited to announce plans for a launch consultation event entitled ‘Bolton Faith Youth’, to take place during national Inter Faith Week this November - 10:30am-1pm on Saturday 16th November at Friends Meeting House Bolton (BL1 1PP), with lunch and refreshments provided.

The event will be an open consultation to share and discuss ideas for a new ongoing youth programme, to be developed in collaboration with young people from all faiths and none, between the ages of 11 and 25.

On the day we will have a short presentation about Bolton Interfaith Council, followed by round table discussions on key questions such as ‘What does Faith mean to you’, ‘What does Interfaith mean to you?’, ‘What are the things that religious people have in common?’, ‘What can we religious people do to work together?’ and ‘What can young people in Bolton do to help?’ This will then lead into wider feedback and a full group discussion, to develop outcomes and action points moving forward.
